Protesters are not pro-Saddam

I can speak from experience: most protesters are both anti-Saddam and anti-war.

Saddam wanted war, and so do fundamentalist muslims that belive jihad means war. If it doesn't kill him, it will make him stronger.

Bush was just too much of a wimp to assasinate him and the leaders of his regime and risk a fatwa and assasination war. Far safer (for him) to send soldiers.
